Będlewo - In 1996, thanks to the efforts of Profs. A. Białynicki-Birula, A. Hulanicki, and B. Bojarski, Director of the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences designated the Będlewo complex for organize mathematical conferences. In 1997 Prof. B. Bojarski started the work on remodelling of the Palace. The scientific activities of the The Mathematical Research and Conference Center started already in 1998 with small mathematical conferences and have gradually expanded up to the present level.

Wielkopolski National Park - situated 15 km south of Poznań on the left bank of the Warta River, is one of the most attractive areas around Poznań. The Park includes 18 strict protection areas that are designed to protect various forms of post - glacial landscape, natural plant communities, and animals living there. Moreover, 32 monument trees and one erratic boulder are preserved there. Many historic monuments are found in the Park, the most precious being a wooden church in Łódź dating back to the 17th c. The Park's Museum of Natural Science is located in Puszczykowo.

Rogalin - the small village of Rogalin is located 17km from Będlewo. Rogalin’s principal attraction is its Baroque and Neoclassical palace and park complex in the French style from the second half of the eighteenth century, and an English garden from the early nineteenth century with its famous clump of ancient oaks. Now it is a branch of the National Museum in Poznań.
In June 2009 the two-year project of Revitalising and Modernising the Palace and Park Complex was finished.

Kórnik Castle - is located in provincial town 29km from Będlewo. Originally built at the tail end of the 14th century by the Górka family, the castle has been extensively remodelled through the centuries, and is one of the few cultural treasures that was spared of destruction of WWII. Today the Kórnik castle houses the museum of interiors, a collection of armaments as well as known in Poland and abroad library. The castle’s park (called Arboretum) is an attraction on its own, with the great collection of rhododendrons and azaleas.

Poznań - known worldwide for its International Trade Fair, is the capital of the area known as Greater Poland. It’s main turist attraction is the city's Old Town, where visitors can spend many hours exploring the Renaissance city hall, the Fara Palaces and the many art museums, as well as Ostrów Tumski, an island set between the Warta and Cybina rivers, home to the gothic cathedral of St. Peter and Paul with its ring of 15 chapels. The Henryk Wieniawski Violin Festival is held in the city annually. The Poznań Brewery, which produces Lech, Tyskie, Żubr and Redds lies on the outskirts of the city.
