The last task

• The complete solution contains 3 elements:
  1. A custom WCF service hosted in a console application:
     • There is only one public method:
       • it takes one parameter - a text to be displayed as Braille
       • it returns an image containing (see the screenshots below):
         • the text written using the Braille alphabet
           • use this public web service: http://www.webservicex.net/braille.asmx
           • size of the font can be arbitrary (e.g. 24)
         • data and time of generating the image (placed in a left down corner)
         • the text written using Arial font
     • Hosting of the custom WCF service:
       • any binding can be used, but be aware that only netNamedPipeBinding will work properly using a student's account in computer laboratory rooms
       • all hosting settings must be kept in a configuration file
  2. A Windows application testing client
     • It must contain 3 elements: a textbox, a button for sending a request to the custom WCF service, and a preview of the received response from the service
     • 
  3. A Web application testing client
     • The same functionality as the Windows application.
     • 

• Hints:
  • For proper using of the http://www.webservicex.net/braille.asmx service, only one of its bindings is enough, e.g.  basicHttpBinding
  •  Converting an array of bytes to an image:

    • var memStream = new MemoryStream(bytes);

      var bmp = new Bitmap(memStream);

  • Converting an image to an array of bytes:

    • var bytes = (byte[])TypeDescriptor.GetConverter(bmp).ConvertTo(bmp, typeof(byte[]));

  • Graphics graphics = Graphics.FromImage(bmp)

• Approximate points:
  • Using the braille.asmx service: 2.5
  • The custom WCF service with full functionality: 3.0
  • Hosting the custom WCF service in a console application: 1.5
  • The Windows application client: 1.0
  • The Web application client: 2.0
